While there are those of us who are old pros in the garden, there are also those that are newbies and have some valid questions that often go unasked. In some way I guess we all think we should have an innate ability to spot weeds, thus making it a tad embarrassing to ask what they look like.
Well, there is no shame in wanting to learn something new, so please just take the lesson in stride, and kindly pass the info on along the way. One thing to know straight away about weeds is that they can have flowers of white, orange, yellow, red, pink, purple, blue or green. Next is that there are a two types, perennial and annual, and both are troublemakers. It may surprise you to hear that there are numerous kinds of weeds that fall into those two types, and to be able to identify them all I recommend referring to a chart with pictures to assist you. This can be readily located on any number of seed sites.
